Hard Body 2021 Ford Bronco SCX24? Yes Please!
Axial Racing is at it again with a new release in the popular SCX24 lineup, but this time they've broken free from their mold (dare I say lexan mold?) and released an ABS hard body! The new officially licensed 2021 Ford Bronco SCX24 is a thing of beauty with crazy attention to scale detail–if you can overlook the solid axles. People that follow my channel know that I am a huge fan of the SCX24 platform. I've purchased over 15 of them, have one or two of every style, and have even started offering some CCxRC aftermarket hopups for them. They are quite addicting.
I was very excited about the release of the SCX24 Jeep Gladiator and am even more excited about this Ford Bronco release. The ABS hard body has extra molded scale details from the addition of mirrors (finally), to the roof rails, tire mount), windshield wipers, front grill, light buckets, and scale accessories. To complete the look of the Ford Bronco they have Factory Ford Wildtrack wheels with the Nitto Trail Grappler M/T Tires. They've even included LED lights in the new clear molded light buckets! It is the first SCX24 to come with a spare tire that I think many people will ditch it to get better performance by lightening the load, but it looks really scale.
Included in the box is a decal sheet that has licensed decals that allow you to choose from the different models of Bronco available so full-size owners can match it to their personal rides. I think that's a nice touch.
The new hard body is secured by a hinge in the back and velcro up front to get rid of the "scale killing" body posts that are hated by many. Under the body you'll see a lot of the same components found in the SCX24 lineup from the Dynamite 88T 180 motor, worm gears, Axial AS-1 Micro Servo, and Dynamite 350mah 2s 30C LiPo battery. It even comes with the 4 AA batteries for the transmitter and a USB LiPo charger so you have everything you need to get it running in the box.
I've got mine on order and can't wait to tackle books and pillows in the house and dirt and rocks on the trails.
